Our experts have studied over 100 services in Europe, the CIS, the USA, and China, accumulating a wealth of unique international expertise. We have presented some of this knowledge in the form of a Banking growth features navigator. It will help you navigate where to look for solutions that make your product stand out among competitors. It will tell you what features are available in each task in banks around the world.
In each country, we surveyed up to five popular traditional banks, such as BBVA and ING, as well as up to eight local digital services, like neobanks Monzo or N26. Additionally, we analyzed the 12 most popular international European fintech services by the number of installations in the Play Market. We excluded applications where it is not possible to manage a debit card, such as cryptocurrency exchanges, wallets, and credit marketplaces.
You can see with your own eyes all the implementations from the navigator in screenshots, screencasts, read the description of mechanics and trace the user's path in the Best mobile banking apps database. It contains all the solutions listed in the navigator without the need to access the personal account of a foreign service.
From the collected data, we selected a list of features - specific implementation characteristics that significantly impact the overall user experience when solving tasks. Each feature either makes the interface more convenient or provides a significant service advantage, for example, by engaging the user.
For convenience, we divided the list of over 800 features into three parts. The first is published today, and the other two will be released by the end of the year.

Three parts of Banking growth features navigator
In the first part, we highlighted seven blocks of tasks. Next to the name of each block, you can see a number - that is the count of features in that block. For example, there are 252 features in "Transfers" and 32 in "Payments."
Each block unfolds and allows users to sort the list not only by features but also by the user tasks in which they are implemented. Besides the bank where a solution can be found, the Navigator also indicates the country of implementation.
Reviewing the entire list will provide fresh ideas - you can learn what solutions exist on the global market.
For more detailed work on searching for specific solutions, for individual study of a certain market or its segment, the Markswebb can gain access to any foreign services and gather all unique implementations there.
Such a personal collection will allow the customer to study in detail the features of one or more markets and reuse any of the gathered solutions.
Individual search for practices will allow you to:
All the solutions of interest from the Navigator can be viewed in the Best mobile banking apps database.
In this database, features are not only listed but also shown through sequential screenshots and screencasts of the entire user journey, along with detailed descriptions of the mechanics.
The database allows you to see the needed solutions in one place without having to search for them individually in the listed banks.
Access to the Notion database is granted via email and remains active for one year. To get access, chose the plan and fill in the form to finish the order. If you need a custom solution, write us a email to [email protected], specifying:
Access is granted immediately after payment is received.
The Navigator and Database encompass a vast scope of the fintech sector in Europe and CIS, but these are not the only markets where we seek practices. Moreover, in a single study, we can examine countries that are diametrically opposite. For example, for one european bank we researched chatbots from banks in China and the USA.
